Admissions to New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) are done based on the guidelines of the Government of Karnataka and the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).

For undergraduate (B.E) courses, candidates need to have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics as optional subjects. Candidates also need to appear for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and secure a valid rank.

For postgraduate (M.Tech) courses, candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant branch of engineering or technology with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates also need to qualify for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

For MBA courses, candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates also need to qualify for the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT), Common Admission Test (CAT), or Management Aptitude Test (MAT).

Management Quota Admission in New Horizon College of Engineering [NHCE]

For admission in graduation, student must have to maintain minimum 40 & 50% marks in his/her PUC(class 12th) and graduation according to meet the criteria requirement for respective subject.
– All subjects should be cleared for which his/her appeared in PUC and graduation.
